Our kids are watching us live, not just listening to what we teach them. The way we care for ourselves, talk to ourselves, try new things, handle mistakes, and make time for joy all helps shape the world they understand. And no, we don't have to be perfect examples—we just have to let them see us being human.

The Mess Is Part of the Experiment.
As parents, we often see the mess before we see the curiosity behind it. A spilled cup, muddy clothes, or a broken egg can feel like one more thing to clean up in an already busy day.
But what if we paused long enough to see the experiment unfolding? I’m learning that sometimes the mess is part of the adventure—and that seeing it through my child’s eyes can turn a minor inconvenience into a moment of discovery.
